A new class is being offered, the first of its kind anywhere, at All Saints of North America. Following a record number of baptisms this past Lazarus Saturday, rather than let the learning die when the chrism dries, we will be offering a Mystagogy Class, picking up where the ASONA Catechism process left off. The live class is already overflowing, and starts this Saturday, May 2, 2026.

It is a common problem that, after baptism, there is no process to guide newly illumined Orthodox Christians in establishing a routine of liturgical participation, study, and rigorous interior life with the tools and techniques to make it successful. This class will introduce the process that will alleviate that deficiency.
The class is open to all baptized Orthodox Christians. You will focusing on establishing a strong interior life, understanding the stages of temptation, and learning and practicing the techniques of interior watchfulness.
An online class will be announced and begin in the following weeks, and can be joined HERE.
What is Mystagogy?
Mystagogy is a word which means ‘initiation into interpretation of the Mysteries.’
Following Baptism, Chrismation, and Communion, the newly Illumined begin the process of Mystagogy, and prepare for the work of the interior life. Your Membership Coordinator has an additional checklist of formative activities for the coming year, so that you may continue your spiritual formation, and move to spiritual maturity.
For the newly illumined, this is an absolutely necessary year of learning, formation, and practice.
The ASONA Mystagogy Workbook will be available at the in person class.
