This fall, we will be holding several classes and seminars designed to help you advance in the spiritual life, train your children, and serve the Church.

ASONA Bible Study
starting Tuesday, September 6th
In this Bible study we will not only cover important information about the Bible as a book, and the text itself, but its history, and canonicity. Then we will delve deeply into how the Church uses the Bible, and identify the references, types, allegories, and echoes of many aspects of Christian Sacramental life.
Altar Serving Class
Saturday, September 10 at 3 pm
For men, and boys aged 7-17 who wish to serve the altar during Divine Liturgy. We will cover entering the altar, folding vesting, processions, carrying torches, and more. Those who go on to serve must memorize the Vesting prayer, and practice additional prayers.
Readers Training
Date and Time TBD
Unlike our normal Readers Training, this class doesn’t go heavily into rubrics, but prepares one to read the Epistle on Sundays, and to help reading at Vespers. No previous knowledge of reading or rubrics is necessary. We will be practicing, so be ready!

For parents and those preparing to be parents, on the raising, forming, and educating of Orthodox Christian children in the 21st Century. Teaching and training children in the Orthodox faith, the Law of God, the life in Christ, and the power of the Church. We’ll talk about strategies for dealing with strong willed children that don’t break their spirit.
The “Spouse” Class

What will we talk about? Dating, Courting, Marriage, Finances, Being Happy (!), Intimacy, Sex, and what questions you have.
