Daily Evening Prokeimena
Sunday Evening – Tone 8
Behold now, bless the Lord* all you servants of the Lord!
v. You who stand in the temple of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God!
Monday Evening – Tone 4
The Lord hears me* when I call to Him.
v. When I called, the God of my righteousness heard me!
Tuesday Evening – Tone 1
Thy mercy, O Lord* shall follow me all the days of my life!
v. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want! He makes me lie down in green pastures!
Wednesday Evening – Tone 5
Save me, O God, by Thy name* and judge me by Thy strength!
v. Hear my prayer, O God, give ear to the words of my mouth!
Thursday Evening – Tone 6
My help comes from the Lord* Who made heaven and earth!
v. I lift up my eyes to the hills, from where my help will come!
Friday Evening – Tone 7
Thou, O God, are my helper* and Thy mercy shall go before me!
v. Deliver me from my enemies, O God, and protect me from those who rise up against me!
